ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer alum Arianna Del Moral (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) signed a contract to continue her playing career with Minnesota Aurora FC, as announced by the organization on Thursday. The women-lead and community-owned franchise will begin its first season of competition in the USL W League in May 2022.
"I am very excited and fortunate to get the opportunity to keep playing and go on this journey with Minnesota Aurora FC," said Del Moral. "Playing a fifth year at St Cloud gave me a chance to keep doing the thing I love most. I am so grateful that my experience with them kept me involved in the game and led me to continue with Aurora. I can't wait for the season to begin and am looking forward to what Aurora has to offer."
After playing 40 games at midfield for Minnesota from 2017-20 before finishing her collegiate career with the Huskies this past season (2022). Del Moral earned All-NSIC Second Team honors after starting all 18 games for the Huskies in 2022, as she scored two goals and had eight points. Del Moral scored goals against Minnesota Crookston (Nov. 2) and Augustana (Nov. 10). She also recorded five or more shots in five games this season.
A 2017 graduate of Totino Grace High School, Del Moral was a three-time letterwinner and earned All-Conference honors in 2016 and 2017. As a senior, she earned All-Area and All-State honors and was named a finalist for Minnesota Ms. Soccer. A two-time section champion, Del Moral participated in the Olympic Development program from 2010-13 and won the North American Cup in 2015.
In the classroom, Del Moral earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2019 and 2020. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from Minnesota in May 2021 and is currently pursuing her Master's of Business Administration at St. Cloud State.
