Huskies fall 5-2; Kashima and Brower win singles matches
LAKE CANE, Fla. – St. Cloud State Women's Tennis (4-4, 3-3 NSIC) dropped its first match in Florida to Millersville, 5-2, on Sunday in Lake Cane, Fla. The Huskies recorded victories in singles matches from freshman Arisa Kashima (Saitama, Japan) and freshman Johana Brower (Sioux Falls, S.D).
DOUBLES
The Huskies dropped the doubles point after wins from Millersville at the No. 1 and 3 positions. At the No. 2 position, freshman Maria Paz Aoki (Marcos Paz, Argentina) and junior Shanna Kinny (Litchfield, Minn.) earned a 7-5 victory over Jasmine Morris and Kelsey Heckert.
SINGLES
In singles play, Kashima and Brower earned wins at the No. 1 and 3 positions, respectively. Kashima won 6-2, 0-6, 10-6 over Jasmine Morris, while Brower won by default over Noelle Htwar.

Next, the Huskies will be back in action against Roosevelt on Monday.
