St. Cloud State Wrestling Ranked No.1 in Fourth Consecutive NWCA Poll

Maheim, PA.- St. Cloud State Wrestling (9-0, 5-0 NSIC) remained the No. 1 team in the country for the fourth consecutive National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Poll. The Huskies hold nine ranked wrestlers which is tied for the most in the country.

St. Cloud State accumulated 88 points to rank first. They were followed by Glenville State (65.5), Wisconsin-Parkside (65.5), Nebraska-Kearney (65.0) and Central Oklahoma (64.5) to round out the top 5.

At 133, Sam Spencer moved to No. 8 after being No. 7 in the last poll. Spencer is 18-2 on the year with 10 bonus point wins. He is 5-1 in duals.

Alyeus Craig is now ranked No. 13 at 141 after being No.6 in the last poll. Craig is 14-4 with a 5-3 dual record while holding 11 bonus point wins.

At 149, Colby Njos is ranked No. 13 after previously being ranked No. 1. Njos is 6-2 on the year with three bonus point wins.

Joel Jesuroga jumped to the No. 1 ranked wrestler at 157 pounds after being No. 5. Jesuroga is undefeated on the year with a 14-0 record and eight bonus point wins. He is 9-0 in duals.

At 165, Nick Novak moved to No. 3 after being No. 2 in the previous poll. Novak is 15-2 with eight bonus point wins and holds a 7-1 dual record.

Bryce Dagel is now the No. 2 wrestler at 174 after being No. 5 in the last poll. Dagel is 15-2 this season with a 8-0 dual record. He has accumulated nine bonus point wins.
At 184, Bryce FitzPatrick is ranked No. 9 after previsouly being No. 10. FitzPatrick is 11-5 on the year with a 4-2 dual record. He has six bonus point wins on the year.Â

Dominic Murphy moved up to No. 2 at 197 after being ranked No. 4. Murphy is undefeated on the season with a 16-0 record and 9-0 dual record. He has totaled 10 bonus point wins.

At 285, La'Ron Parks is ranked No. 5 after being No. 2. Parks is 16-1 with a 5-1 dual record and six bonus point wins.
