St. Cloud State Wrestling Stays No. 1 Ahead of Super Regions in Latest NWCA Rankings

Dominic Murphy ranked No. 1 at 197
Manheim, Pa.- St. Cloud State Wrestling (14-0, 9-0 NSIC) remained the No.1 team in the country for the fifth consecutive National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Poll. The Huskies holds a nation-high nine ranked wrestlers while being the only team with two No. 1 ranked wrestlers at a given weight class.
St. Cloud State accumulated 96.5 points to rank first. Rounding out the top five is Nebraska-Kearney (8 ranked wrestlers, 70.0 points), Wisconsin-Parkside (8, 68.0), Central Oklahoma (8, 66.5), and Glennville State (7, 61.0).
At 125, Conor Knopick moved back into the rankings and is ranked No. 12 after previously being unranked. Knopick is 13-4 with nine bonus point wins.
Sam Spencer is now ranked No. 9 at 133 after coming in at No. 8. Spencer is 21-4 on the year with 12 bonus point wins.
At 149, Colby Njos moved up to No. 2 after being No. 13. Njos is 11-2 with five bonus point wins.
Joel Jesuroga remained the No. 1 ranked wrestler at 157. Jesuroga is undefeated with a 19-0 record and 10 bonus point wins.
At 165, Nick Novak sits at No. 5 in the country after previously being No. 3. Novak is 19-3 with 10 bonus point wins.
Bryce Dagel comes in as the No. 4 ranked wrestler at 174 after being No. 2 in the previous poll. Dagel is 19-3 with 10 bonus point wins.
At 184, Bryce FitzPatrick is ranked No. 11 after being No. 9. FitzPatrick is 15-6 with eight bonus point wins.
Dominic Murphy is the newly touted top ranked wrestler at 197 after being ranked No. 2. Murphy is undefeated with a 21-0 record and has 10 bonus point wins.
At 285, La'Ron Parks remains ranked No. 5. He is 18-3 with six bonus point wins.
