2024 (SENIOR): Missed her senior season due to injury.
2023 (JUNIOR): Earned All-Central Regional Second Team honors and All-NSIC First Team honors on the pitch, as well as College Sports Communicators All-District and NSIC All-Academic honors in the classroom … Played in and started all 21 games in her junior season, recording and assist and two shots on goal while playing 70+ minutes in 19 of 21 games and a full slate of 90 minutes in 16 of 21 games … Played on the Huskies solid backline that helped hold its opponents to 0.81 goals per game with eight shutouts … Had an assist in 2-1 win over Mary (Oct. 8).
2022 (SOPHOMORE): Earned Academic All-NSIC honors … Appeared in 13 games and made 13 starts for the huskies … Logged 1065 minutes … Played a full sheet of 90 minutes in 8 of 13 games.
2021 (FRESHMAN): Zerna played in 11 games with 11 starts and recorded two shots and one shot on goal in her first season with the Huskies.
Personal: Zerna is one of three student-athletes from St. Michael-Albertville to join St. Cloud State in the fall of 2021. A center back, Zerna scored plenty of awards during her prep carer, including All-Conference, All-State, State All-Tournament Team and Academic All-Conference honors. As a freshman in 2017, Zerna was named to the State All-Tournament team and was additionally voted the Most Improved Player by her teammates and coaches. She earned All-Conference and All-State honors in 2019 and was voted both team captain and the No. 1 defender in the Lake Conference in 2021. Off the pitch, Zerna was a two-time Academic Excellence Award winner and was a member of both choir and National Honor Society (NHS).
