SCSU Softball Travels to Missouri Western Invite

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State University softball team will hit the road for St. Joseph Missouri as they compete in the Missouri Western Invite this weekend, March 21-23. The Huskies enter into the tournament holding a 4-7 overall record.

Teams from the throughout the NCAA Division II Softball Central Region will converge in St. Joseph this weekend as Griffon Softball hosts the MWSU Softball Invitational. Six teams from the MIAA and six from the Northern Sun Conference will compete at both the MWSU Spring Sports Complex and Heritage Park Softball Complex over the three days.

An admission fee of $5.00 per day will be charged at each venue with the fee being good all day at both venues with children 6 & under being admitted free.

Heritage Park Softball Complex is located at 2202 Waterworks Road and features four fields, three of which will be used for tournament play. The complex has hosted numerous national tournaments including the 2010 NCAA Division II Softball National Championship.
