St. Cloud State women's tennis completes regular season with win at St. Kate's

The St.Cloud State University women's tennis team ended its regular season schedule in top fashion with a 7-2 victory at St. Catherine's on Friday, April 15 in St. Paul, Minn.
The Huskies completed their 2016 regular season schedule with a 12-8 overall record under the leadership of head coach Jerry Anderson and assistant coach Larry Sundby. Â SCSU will now compete at the 2016 NSIC tournament on April 23-24 at the Oakdale Lifetimess Fitness tennis complex in Minnetonka, Minn.
Of note, Alexie Portz paces SCSU this season in singles play with a 15-4 record, while teammate Jill Kedrowski posted a 14-3 regular season singles record and Jamie Voelker is 11-5 in singles play this season. Â Â In doubles play, the duo of Portz and Kedrowski are 14-3 for the Huskies in 2016.
