Huskies win without leading a set point to Falcons

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – St. Cloud State Women's Tennis (9-8, 4-4 NSIC) recorded its second consecutive dominant win in as many days, defeating Wisconsin River Falls, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon in River Falls. Once again, the Huskies won without dropping a single set.

DOUBLES

The Huskies took the doubles point after wins at all three spots in doubles competition. At the No. 3 spot, Fredrickson and freshman Maria Molitor (Delano, Minn.) earned a decisive 8-0 victory over Grace Aerts and Kennedy Zeifert. It was the pair's second consecutive victory without leading a point this weekend.

SINGLES

In singles play, the Huskies won each match to take the match, 7-0. In the six matchups, four were won in 6-0, 6-0 fashion, as junior Shanna Kinny (Litchfield, Minn.), freshman Johana Brower (Sioux Falls, S.D.), freshman Claudia Munoz Perez (Tarragona, Spain) and senior Samantha Fitzpatrick (Rogers, Minn.) each were victorious in dominant fashion.
