
Kirby’s Pair of Goals Leads Huskies to 2-0 Win over Winona State

Kirby nets goals in 26th and 31st minutes to grab momentum
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Led by a pair of goals from sophomore forward Megan Kirby (Navarre, Fla.) led St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (2-4-0, 1-2-0 NSIC) over Winona State (3-2-1, 1-1-1 NSIC), 2-0, on Friday evening at Husky Stadium in St. Cloud, Minn. Kirby's two goals marked the first career multi-goal game of her career.
TURNING POINT
Kirby's goals came in the 26th and 31st minutes of the game, as she gave the Huskies a spark in the first half that catapulted St. Cloud State to victory. On her first goal, she found the back of the net off an assist from senior midfielder Samantha Howa (Tooele, Utah), while senior forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.) assisted on the second goal of the night.
