
St. Cloud State Tennis heads out to Florida for spring break

Huskies to compete in four matches between March 4-9
St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State Tennis will travel down to Orlando, Florida for a six-day, four-match spring break road trip starting on Saturday, March 4th.
The Huskies will start off the trip by facing off against Calvin (4-0) on March 4th. Calvin has already played three matches in Orlando and has posted two 6-3 wins over Saint Mary's and Moravian along with a 7-2 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Calvin will play Covenant at 3:00 P.M. before facing off against the Huskies at 6:30.
St. Cloud State will then play Clarion (0-1) on Sunday, March 5th. The match will take place at 12:30 P.M. at the USTA National Campus.
The Huskies have two days off before competing against John Carroll (0-2) on Wednesday, March 8th at 6:30 P.M. St. Cloud will have the rest advantage in this matchup as the Blue Streaks are set to play Spring Arbor University the day before. The match is set to commence at Oak Street Park.
St. Cloud State will wrap up their Florida trip on Thursday, March 9th with a matchup against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (3-0). The match will be played at Oak Street Park at 12:30 P.M.
The Huskies are in the midst of a three-match losing streak coming off their season opening victory over Minnesota Crookston. St. Cloud State now sit at 1-3 overall and 0-3 in conference play on the season and find themselves in 11th in the NSIC standings.
