Huskies win consecutive games in Florida
Orlando, Fla.- St. Cloud State Women's Tennis (3-3, 0-3 NSIC) defeated California University of Pennsylvania (2-3) 4-3 Sunday afternoon. The Huskies earned the doubles point and solidified the victory with three singles wins.

Doubles
St. Cloud State grabbed the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. In the No. 1 spot, sophomore Maria Paz Aoki (Marcos Paz, Argentina) and sophomore Claudia Muñoz Perez (Tarragona, Spain) suffered a 4-6 defeat, falling to Leandra Guldimann and Maria Del Mar Ojeda. Sophomore Johana Brower (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and freshman Oriana Grott (Warsaw, Poland) earned their second consecutive victory with a 6-4 win in the No. 2 spot. In the No. 3 spot, senior Olivia Fredrickson (Fridley, Minn.) and sophomore Maria Molitor (Delano, Minn.) defeated Kylie Feltenberger and Anna Oblock 6-1 to secure the doubles point for the Huskies. The duo also earned their second consecutive victory with the win and sit at 3-1 on the year.

In Singles play, the Huskies split the six matches with the Vulcans, winning three matches each. In the No. 1 spot, Grott earned her second career victory with the Huskies as she captured a 6-2, 2-6, 10-9 victory. Johana Brower is on a tear right now for the Huskies as she won her fourth consecutive match with a clean 6-0, 6-0 victory in the No. 5 spot. Molitor put the Huskies over the top as she swept Olivia Hoin 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 6 spot.
