No. 9 St. Cloud State Wrestling Looks for 10th Straight Super Region V Championship in Marshall, MN

Huskies to compete for 13th region title
St. Cloud, MN. – No. 9 St. Cloud State Wrestling (17-2, 10-0 NSIC) take to the mat in Marshall, MN on Saturday, February 28 as they compete in the Super Region V Championships. Session I is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.

St. Cloud State wrapped up the regular season two weeks ago as they took on No. 6 Wisconsin-Parkside.
No. 13 Huskies Beat No. 6 Wisconsin-Parkside 25-15 to Threepeat as NSIC Champions- February 15, 2026
The dual started at 285 where Zach Glazier once again set the tone with a tech fall. He would score seven takedowns on his way to a 21-5 victory as SCSU led 5-0. Moving to 125, Ben Aranda was defeated 3-0 against No. 5 Shane Corrigan. Corrigan tallied and escape in period two and then rode out Aranda in the third period starting out on top while adding a stalling point.
SCSU came away with the next two wins as Dominic Ducato added a major decision at 133 while Jayce Luna produced a tech fall. Ducato would win 16-3 as he was powered by four takedowns, two near-fall points, and riding time. Luna tallied three takedowns, eight nearfall points, and riding to win 18-2.
At 149, the Rangers came away with a disqualification win after the Huskies exceeded stall calls to set the score at 14-9.
At 157, No. 2 Joel Jesuroga held a 2-1 lead headed into the third period after notching an escape and stall point. With 15 seconds left, Jesuroga nabbed the left leg of No. 4 Easton Worachek to secure the takedown and then put him on his back and tallied four nearfall points. Jesuroga would stay unbeaten with the 9-1 major decision and added a key bonus point towards the team score in the process.
UWP would take the next two matches, both by decision, to set the score at 18-15 as only two bouts remained.
At 184, No. 2 Cole Glazier faced off against Lowell Arnold. Glazier would call game as a 14-2 major decision sealed the dual victory and NSIC Championship for the Huskies. He would tally three takedowns, two nearfall points, a reversal, and a stall point to win 14-2.
Tyson Meyer put the finishing touches on the match as a late takedown in the third period partnered with riding time propelled him to a 5-1 decision over No. 13 Jordan Blanchard. The Huskies would ultimately win 25-15 over No. 6 Wisconsin-Parkside to claim the NSIC Title.

St. Cloud State comes into Super Region V ranked ninth in the latest NWCA Poll. This is the highest the Huskies have been ranked since the preseason where they started eighth. SCSU holds six ranked wrestlers.

133 Pounds- No. 13 Dominic Ducato (11-1, 8-0 vs. NSIC, 2-1 vs. ranked), seven bonus point wins (four major decisions, two tech falls, one fall)
157 Pounds- No. 2 Joel Jesuroga (17-0, 12-0 vs NSIC, 5-0 vs ranked), nine bonus point wins (seven major decisions, two tech falls)
174 Pounds- No. 11 Bryce Dagel (10-4, 6-2 vs NSIC, 1-4 vs ranked), seven bonus point wins (three major decision, one tech fall, three falls)

Following the Huskies win over No. 6 Wisconsin-Parkside, SCSU would threepeat as NSIC Champions. St. Cloud State has won 14 of the past 15 titles with 18 total NSIC Titles. 13 have come under Head Coach Steve Costanzo.
Super Region V History
St. Cloud State comes into Marshall having won nine straight Super Region V Championships with 12 total titles. With the top three placers at each respective weight class qualifying for the NCAA Tournament, the Huskies have sent 6+ wrestlers to the NCAA Tournament in 18 consecutive seasons.
Last season, St. Cloud State would accumulate 133.5 points to capture the championship while qualifying eight wrestlers. Five of those eight would win individual region championships.
No. 1 Huskies Win 9th Straight Super Region V Championship, Qualify 8 for NCAA Tournament- March 1, 2025
125- No. 12 Conor Knopick Places Third, advances to the NCAA Tournament
At 125, No. 12 Conor Knopick had a strong start to his day and he came away with a 9-0 major decision in Round 1 and followed that up with a fall to advance to the semifinals. Knopick met a familiar foe in the semifinals in No. 13 Shane Corrigan of Wisconsin-Parkside. Heading into the third period, the match would be tied at 0-0 with each wrestler having a stall call. Corrigan came away with a key reversal as Knopick started on top to take a 2-0 lead. A series of stall calls on Knopick partnered with riding time ultimately led to a 7-0 win for Corrigan. Now heading into the consolation semifinals, a seven point first period which featured a takedown and a four-point near fall propelled Knopick to an 11-6 win and to the third-place match where a win would secure a place in the NCAA Tournament. For a spot in the NCAA Tournament, Knopick matched up against Sloan Johannsen of Northern State. The No. 12 ranked wrestler struck first with takedown which Johanssen escaped out of. To start period two, Knopick had an instant reversal which saw him take a 5-1 lead. Johanssen again escaped to set the score at 5-2 going into the third. With Knopick on top to start, Johannsen captured his third escape of the match to come within a takedown. With 1:07 left in the match, the Omaha, Neb. native came up big with a takedown which all but sealed the match as he led 8-3. He would ultimately win the match 9-4 to take third and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

133- No. 9 Sam Spencer is Super Region V Champion and advances to the NCAA Tournament
At 133, No. 9 Sam Spencer received a first round bye and would wrestle Wayne Joint of Minot State in the quarterfinals. The match would head into a tiebreaker where Spencer came out with the victory. Moving to the semifinals, Spencer faced off against No. 3 Matthew Chi of Wisconsin-Parkside. His match again headed into a tiebreaker after each wrestler captured an escape point. In the tiebreaker periods, Spencer came away with key escape points which ultimately led to a 3-2 victory against the No. 3 ranked wrestler. The win also secured Spencer a spot in the NCAA Tournament and in the finals. The No. 9 ranked wrestler matched up with Ryan Henninson of MSU Moorhead. Spencer trailed 3-1 at the end of the first period but came away with a quick escape to start period two. With 26 seconds left in the period, Spencer came up with a big takedown as he took a 5-3 lead into the final frame. Henningston could only muster an escape point as Sam Spencer became the Super Region V Champion while punching his ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a 5-4 win.

141- Alyeus Craig does not place
At 141, Alyeus Craig would win his first match of the day with a 17-8 win against Adrian Chavez. The quarterfinal round saw Craig get pinned as he was sent to the wrestlebacks. In his lone match, he would lose by decision 4-2 against Jordon Oehme, ending his day.

149- No. 2 Colby Njos places third, advances to the NCAA Tournament
No. 2 Colby Njos got off to a fast start as he earned a pin in his first match of the day. Njos then reached the semifinals after 1-0 victory against Trae Thilmony where he escaped six seconds into the third period and then shutout Thilmony's offense. In the semifinals, he would wrestle against No. 9 Ethen Doty used a second period escape to win 1-0. Njos would be sent to the consolation semifinals where he kept his NCAA chances alive with a 5-1 win against No. 14 Walker Bents in part to a four-point second period. For a spot in the NCAA's, Njos wrestled against No. 4 Wyatt Turnquist in the third-place match. The No. 2 ranked wrestler started off hot with a takedown in the first period which he then proceeded to ride out Turnquist for the rest of the period. No scoring occurred in the second period. Njos started down in the third period where he landed back on top with a reversal which he then worked to a fall to take third place and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

The top ranked wrestler at 157 in Joel Jesuroga had not troubles earning his spot in the NCAA Tournament as a pair of major decisions and a tech fall secured his spot as well as sending him to the finals. Jesuroga wrestled against No. 15 Caleb Meunier in the final round. The Pleasant Hill, IA. native roared out to a 6-2 lead at the end of the first period in part to a pair of takedowns. Jesuroga's defense was on display all match as Meunier was unable to score any points outside of escapes. He would ultimately win 7-3 to become the Super Region V Champion.

165- No. 5 Nick Novak is Super Region V Champion and advances to the NCAA Tournament
No. 5 Nick Novak started off his day with a bye before advancing to the semifinals with a tech fall. Against No. 15 Leo Mushinsky, Novak came away with a 1-0 win after an escape in the second period partnered with outstanding defense propelled him to the win. Moving into the finals, Novak would wrestle No. 7 Dajun Johnson. The match would head into sudden victory after each wrestler earned an escape point. With 44 seconds left in overtime, Novak came up big with a wrap around takedown to get the win. This was Novak's fourth consecutive season advancing to the NCAA Tournament and fourth consecutive Super Region V Title.

To start his day, No. 4 Bryce Dagel came up clutch with a takedown to beat Wyatt Lindberg in sudden victory. He then carried that momentum over into the quarterfinals where he came away with a tech fall. With a chance to clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament, Dagel used a first period takedown and long drawn out rides to ultimately win 5-3 and advance to the finals. The final round saw Dagel match up against No. 8 Lawson Losee of Upper Iowa. The Eden Prairie, Minn. native came away with four points in the second period to take a 4-0 lead. Dagel completely shutdown Losee offensively as he came away with the 5-0 win to become the Super Region V Champion.

At 184, No. 11 Bryce FitzPatrick came away with a 17-11 win in his quarterfinal bout against Damen Pape to start his day. FitzPatrick would then be defeated 7-3 against No. 3 Reece Worachek of to be sent to the consolation semifinals. To keep his NCAA hopes alive, FitzPatrick wrestled against No. 9 Colter Bye where a four-point third period propelled him to a 5-1 win. In the third place match, FitzPatrick's day ended right where it started, wrestling against Damen Pape. After the first period ended in a 4-4 tie, FitzPatrick followed that up with another four-point period to lead 8-4. Starting on bottom, Pape would escape and then takedown FitzPatrick to tie the match at 8-8 with 1:18 left to go. With 50 seconds remaining, FitzPatrick came away with an escape and then avoided being taken down the remainder of the period to place third and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Top ranked Dominic Murphy received a bye in his opening round before coming away with a 17-2 tech fall against Kody Marschner. Murphy followed that up with a clutch takedown late in his semifinal match against Chase Stegall to win 4-2. In the finals, Murphy faced a familiar foe in No. 4 Max Ramberg. Two first period takedowns along with stellar defense propped Murphy to a 7-4 victory to threepeat as Super Region V Champion and qualify for the NCAA Tournament.

285- No. 5 La'Ron Parks places sixth
No. 5 La'Ron Parks came away with a 5-1 decision in his opener, but would be sent to the wreslebacks after getting pinned in the quarterfinals. He then strung together a major decision and a decision victory to keep his NCAA hopes alive as he then wrestled in the consolation semifinals. Trailing 4-1 entering the third period, Parks collected a pair of stall points from Max Barlow as the match tightened up at 4-3. Parks was unable to get the winning takedown as a takedown late by Barlow sealed his fate with a 7-3 defeat. Parks would be a medical forfeit in the fifth place match to finish sixth.

Representing the Huskies at 125 will be redshirt senior Ben Aranda. Aranda holds a 9-7 record with six bonus point wins. Against opponents in Super Region V, the DeKalb, Illinois native is 7-3 with four bonus point wins.
There is only one wrestler ranked at 125 in the Region in No. 4 Shane Corrigan of Wisconsin-Parkside. In their matchup, Corrigan beat Aranda 3-0.
The Field at 133
At 133, No. 13 Dominic Ducato will be making his Super Region debut. Ducato is 11-1 on the year with seven bonus point wins. He is a perfect 7-0 against Region opponents.
Ducato is one of three ranked wrestlers at 133 and is joined by No. 5 Jacob Strausbaugh of UMary and No. 15 Chase Beckett of Minnesota State. Ducato has not wrestled against Strausbaugh this season and beat Beckett 6-1.
The Field at 141
141 pounds will see Jayce Luna make his Super Region V debut. Luna is 11-6 on the year with eight bonus point wins. He is 8-3 against Region opponents.
Ranked at 141 pounds is No. 6 Sean Solis of UMary and No. 8 Luke Koenen of Augustana. Luna was defeated 11-3 to Solis and 8-5 to Koenen.
The Field at 149
True freshman Rowdy Neighbor will take to the mat for SCSU at 149 pounds. Neighbor is 18-3 with 13 bonus points wins. He is 2-1 against Region opponents in duals this season.
149 holds the most ranked wrestlers of any weigh class in the region with five ranked wrestlers. Those five include No. 2 Jalen Spuhler of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 4 Nolan Ambrose of Augustana, No. 8 Ethen Doty of Upper Iowa, No. 10 Rudy Lopez of Northern State, and No. 13 Walker Bents of Minnesota State. Neighbor has only wrestled Ambrose who he lost 15-0 to.
The Field at 157
No. 2 Joel Jesuroga will be looking to defend his Super Region V Title from a season ago. Jesuroga is undefeated at 17-0 with nine bonus point wins. He is 12-0 against Region opponents.
Jesuroga enters as the top ranked wrestler at the class and is joined by No. 4 Easton Worachek of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 8 Caleb Meunier of Minnesota State, and No. 10 Cael Larson of Augustana. Jesuroga has beaten all three with scores of 9-1 against Worachek, 4-1 and 7-5 against Meunier, and 4-2 against Larson.
The Field at 165
Representing the Huskies at 165 will be redshirt sophomore Derek Johnson. Johnson is 8-3 with five bonus point wins. He is 4-2 against Region opponents.
Ranked at 165 is No. 10 Payton Handevidt of Augustana and No. 11 Brody Hemauer of Wisconsin-Parkside. Johnson has only wrestled Hemauer who he lost 8-1 to.
The Field at 174
No. 11 Bryce Dagel is the second Husky who is looking to defend his Super Region V from last season. Dagel is 10-4 with seven bonus point wins. He is 6-2 against Region opponents this year.
174 will feature three other ranked wrestlers in No. 2 Dajun Johnson of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 4 Coy Gunderson of Augustana, and No. 13 Drake Hayward of Minnesota State. Dagel lost in a tiebreaker to Johnson and in sudden victory to Gunderson while beating Hayward 7-2.
The Field at 184
No. 2 Cole Glazier eyes his second appearance to the NCAA Tournament. Glazier finished 3rd at Super Region V in 2024. He is undefeated with a 16-0 record and 10 bonus point wins. Glazier is 10-0 vs. Region opponents.
Glazier enters as the top ranked wrestler in the Region and is joined by No. 12 Charlie Petit of Augustana and No. 13 Brady Westall of Northern State. He defeated Petit 1-0 and Westall 3-0.
The Field at 197
No. 15 Tyson Meyer will be making his Super Region V debut at 197. He is 13-4 with nine bonus point wins and holds a 10-1 record against Region opponents.
Meyer is one of two ranked wrestlers in the region along with No. 1 Max Ramberg of Augustana. He lost 4-1 to Ramberg earlier in the season.
The Field at 285
No. 3 Zach Glazier will also be making his Super Region debut. Glazier is undefeated at 4-0 with three bonus point wins. All four of his wins have come against Region opponents.
Glazier is the top ranked wrestler in the region and is joined by No. 5 Luke Tweeton of UMary. He defeated Tweeton 8-1 earlier in the year.

Following the Huskies win over No. 6 Wisconsin-Parkside, SCSU would threepeat as NSIC Champions. St. Cloud State has won 14 of the past 15 titles with 18 total NSIC Titles. 13 have come under Head Coach Steve Costanzo.
Super Region V History
St. Cloud State comes into Marshall having won nine straight Super Region V Championships with 12 total titles. With the top three placers at each respective weight class qualifying for the NCAA Tournament, the Huskies have sent 6+ wrestlers to the NCAA Tournament in 18 consecutive seasons.
Last season, St. Cloud State would accumulate 133.5 points to capture the championship while qualifying eight wrestlers. Five of those eight would win individual region championships.
No. 1 Huskies Win 9th Straight Super Region V Championship, Qualify 8 for NCAA Tournament- March 1, 2025
125- No. 12 Conor Knopick Places Third, advances to the NCAA Tournament
At 125, No. 12 Conor Knopick had a strong start to his day and he came away with a 9-0 major decision in Round 1 and followed that up with a fall to advance to the semifinals. Knopick met a familiar foe in the semifinals in No. 13 Shane Corrigan of Wisconsin-Parkside. Heading into the third period, the match would be tied at 0-0 with each wrestler having a stall call. Corrigan came away with a key reversal as Knopick started on top to take a 2-0 lead. A series of stall calls on Knopick partnered with riding time ultimately led to a 7-0 win for Corrigan. Now heading into the consolation semifinals, a seven point first period which featured a takedown and a four-point near fall propelled Knopick to an 11-6 win and to the third-place match where a win would secure a place in the NCAA Tournament. For a spot in the NCAA Tournament, Knopick matched up against Sloan Johannsen of Northern State. The No. 12 ranked wrestler struck first with takedown which Johanssen escaped out of. To start period two, Knopick had an instant reversal which saw him take a 5-1 lead. Johanssen again escaped to set the score at 5-2 going into the third. With Knopick on top to start, Johannsen captured his third escape of the match to come within a takedown. With 1:07 left in the match, the Omaha, Neb. native came up big with a takedown which all but sealed the match as he led 8-3. He would ultimately win the match 9-4 to take third and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

133- No. 9 Sam Spencer is Super Region V Champion and advances to the NCAA Tournament
At 133, No. 9 Sam Spencer received a first round bye and would wrestle Wayne Joint of Minot State in the quarterfinals. The match would head into a tiebreaker where Spencer came out with the victory. Moving to the semifinals, Spencer faced off against No. 3 Matthew Chi of Wisconsin-Parkside. His match again headed into a tiebreaker after each wrestler captured an escape point. In the tiebreaker periods, Spencer came away with key escape points which ultimately led to a 3-2 victory against the No. 3 ranked wrestler. The win also secured Spencer a spot in the NCAA Tournament and in the finals. The No. 9 ranked wrestler matched up with Ryan Henninson of MSU Moorhead. Spencer trailed 3-1 at the end of the first period but came away with a quick escape to start period two. With 26 seconds left in the period, Spencer came up with a big takedown as he took a 5-3 lead into the final frame. Henningston could only muster an escape point as Sam Spencer became the Super Region V Champion while punching his ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a 5-4 win.

At 141, Alyeus Craig would win his first match of the day with a 17-8 win against Adrian Chavez. The quarterfinal round saw Craig get pinned as he was sent to the wrestlebacks. In his lone match, he would lose by decision 4-2 against Jordon Oehme, ending his day.

149- No. 2 Colby Njos places third, advances to the NCAA Tournament
No. 2 Colby Njos got off to a fast start as he earned a pin in his first match of the day. Njos then reached the semifinals after 1-0 victory against Trae Thilmony where he escaped six seconds into the third period and then shutout Thilmony's offense. In the semifinals, he would wrestle against No. 9 Ethen Doty used a second period escape to win 1-0. Njos would be sent to the consolation semifinals where he kept his NCAA chances alive with a 5-1 win against No. 14 Walker Bents in part to a four-point second period. For a spot in the NCAA's, Njos wrestled against No. 4 Wyatt Turnquist in the third-place match. The No. 2 ranked wrestler started off hot with a takedown in the first period which he then proceeded to ride out Turnquist for the rest of the period. No scoring occurred in the second period. Njos started down in the third period where he landed back on top with a reversal which he then worked to a fall to take third place and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

The top ranked wrestler at 157 in Joel Jesuroga had not troubles earning his spot in the NCAA Tournament as a pair of major decisions and a tech fall secured his spot as well as sending him to the finals. Jesuroga wrestled against No. 15 Caleb Meunier in the final round. The Pleasant Hill, IA. native roared out to a 6-2 lead at the end of the first period in part to a pair of takedowns. Jesuroga's defense was on display all match as Meunier was unable to score any points outside of escapes. He would ultimately win 7-3 to become the Super Region V Champion.

No. 5 Nick Novak started off his day with a bye before advancing to the semifinals with a tech fall. Against No. 15 Leo Mushinsky, Novak came away with a 1-0 win after an escape in the second period partnered with outstanding defense propelled him to the win. Moving into the finals, Novak would wrestle No. 7 Dajun Johnson. The match would head into sudden victory after each wrestler earned an escape point. With 44 seconds left in overtime, Novak came up big with a wrap around takedown to get the win. This was Novak's fourth consecutive season advancing to the NCAA Tournament and fourth consecutive Super Region V Title.

174- No. 4 Bryce Dagel is Super Region V Champion and advances to the NCAA Tournament
To start his day, No. 4 Bryce Dagel came up clutch with a takedown to beat Wyatt Lindberg in sudden victory. He then carried that momentum over into the quarterfinals where he came away with a tech fall. With a chance to clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament, Dagel used a first period takedown and long drawn out rides to ultimately win 5-3 and advance to the finals. The final round saw Dagel match up against No. 8 Lawson Losee of Upper Iowa. The Eden Prairie, Minn. native came away with four points in the second period to take a 4-0 lead. Dagel completely shutdown Losee offensively as he came away with the 5-0 win to become the Super Region V Champion.

184- No. 11 Bryce FitzPatrick places third and advances to the NCAA Tournament
At 184, No. 11 Bryce FitzPatrick came away with a 17-11 win in his quarterfinal bout against Damen Pape to start his day. FitzPatrick would then be defeated 7-3 against No. 3 Reece Worachek of to be sent to the consolation semifinals. To keep his NCAA hopes alive, FitzPatrick wrestled against No. 9 Colter Bye where a four-point third period propelled him to a 5-1 win. In the third place match, FitzPatrick's day ended right where it started, wrestling against Damen Pape. After the first period ended in a 4-4 tie, FitzPatrick followed that up with another four-point period to lead 8-4. Starting on bottom, Pape would escape and then takedown FitzPatrick to tie the match at 8-8 with 1:18 left to go. With 50 seconds remaining, FitzPatrick came away with an escape and then avoided being taken down the remainder of the period to place third and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Top ranked Dominic Murphy received a bye in his opening round before coming away with a 17-2 tech fall against Kody Marschner. Murphy followed that up with a clutch takedown late in his semifinal match against Chase Stegall to win 4-2. In the finals, Murphy faced a familiar foe in No. 4 Max Ramberg. Two first period takedowns along with stellar defense propped Murphy to a 7-4 victory to threepeat as Super Region V Champion and qualify for the NCAA Tournament.

285- No. 5 La'Ron Parks places sixth
No. 5 La'Ron Parks came away with a 5-1 decision in his opener, but would be sent to the wreslebacks after getting pinned in the quarterfinals. He then strung together a major decision and a decision victory to keep his NCAA hopes alive as he then wrestled in the consolation semifinals. Trailing 4-1 entering the third period, Parks collected a pair of stall points from Max Barlow as the match tightened up at 4-3. Parks was unable to get the winning takedown as a takedown late by Barlow sealed his fate with a 7-3 defeat. Parks would be a medical forfeit in the fifth place match to finish sixth.

Representing the Huskies at 125 will be redshirt senior Ben Aranda. Aranda holds a 9-7 record with six bonus point wins. Against opponents in Super Region V, the DeKalb, Illinois native is 7-3 with four bonus point wins.
There is only one wrestler ranked at 125 in the Region in No. 4 Shane Corrigan of Wisconsin-Parkside. In their matchup, Corrigan beat Aranda 3-0.
The Field at 133
At 133, No. 13 Dominic Ducato will be making his Super Region debut. Ducato is 11-1 on the year with seven bonus point wins. He is a perfect 7-0 against Region opponents.
Ducato is one of three ranked wrestlers at 133 and is joined by No. 5 Jacob Strausbaugh of UMary and No. 15 Chase Beckett of Minnesota State. Ducato has not wrestled against Strausbaugh this season and beat Beckett 6-1.
The Field at 141
141 pounds will see Jayce Luna make his Super Region V debut. Luna is 11-6 on the year with eight bonus point wins. He is 8-3 against Region opponents.
Ranked at 141 pounds is No. 6 Sean Solis of UMary and No. 8 Luke Koenen of Augustana. Luna was defeated 11-3 to Solis and 8-5 to Koenen.
The Field at 149
True freshman Rowdy Neighbor will take to the mat for SCSU at 149 pounds. Neighbor is 18-3 with 13 bonus points wins. He is 2-1 against Region opponents in duals this season.
149 holds the most ranked wrestlers of any weigh class in the region with five ranked wrestlers. Those five include No. 2 Jalen Spuhler of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 4 Nolan Ambrose of Augustana, No. 8 Ethen Doty of Upper Iowa, No. 10 Rudy Lopez of Northern State, and No. 13 Walker Bents of Minnesota State. Neighbor has only wrestled Ambrose who he lost 15-0 to.
The Field at 157
No. 2 Joel Jesuroga will be looking to defend his Super Region V Title from a season ago. Jesuroga is undefeated at 17-0 with nine bonus point wins. He is 12-0 against Region opponents.
Jesuroga enters as the top ranked wrestler at the class and is joined by No. 4 Easton Worachek of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 8 Caleb Meunier of Minnesota State, and No. 10 Cael Larson of Augustana. Jesuroga has beaten all three with scores of 9-1 against Worachek, 4-1 and 7-5 against Meunier, and 4-2 against Larson.
The Field at 165
Representing the Huskies at 165 will be redshirt sophomore Derek Johnson. Johnson is 8-3 with five bonus point wins. He is 4-2 against Region opponents.
Ranked at 165 is No. 10 Payton Handevidt of Augustana and No. 11 Brody Hemauer of Wisconsin-Parkside. Johnson has only wrestled Hemauer who he lost 8-1 to.
The Field at 174
No. 11 Bryce Dagel is the second Husky who is looking to defend his Super Region V from last season. Dagel is 10-4 with seven bonus point wins. He is 6-2 against Region opponents this year.
174 will feature three other ranked wrestlers in No. 2 Dajun Johnson of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 4 Coy Gunderson of Augustana, and No. 13 Drake Hayward of Minnesota State. Dagel lost in a tiebreaker to Johnson and in sudden victory to Gunderson while beating Hayward 7-2.
The Field at 184
No. 2 Cole Glazier eyes his second appearance to the NCAA Tournament. Glazier finished 3rd at Super Region V in 2024. He is undefeated with a 16-0 record and 10 bonus point wins. Glazier is 10-0 vs. Region opponents.
Glazier enters as the top ranked wrestler in the Region and is joined by No. 12 Charlie Petit of Augustana and No. 13 Brady Westall of Northern State. He defeated Petit 1-0 and Westall 3-0.
The Field at 197
No. 15 Tyson Meyer will be making his Super Region V debut at 197. He is 13-4 with nine bonus point wins and holds a 10-1 record against Region opponents.
Meyer is one of two ranked wrestlers in the region along with No. 1 Max Ramberg of Augustana. He lost 4-1 to Ramberg earlier in the season.
The Field at 285
No. 3 Zach Glazier will also be making his Super Region debut. Glazier is undefeated at 4-0 with three bonus point wins. All four of his wins have come against Region opponents.
Glazier is the top ranked wrestler in the region and is joined by No. 5 Luke Tweeton of UMary. He defeated Tweeton 8-1 earlier in the year.
