Before SCSU: A 2015 graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock High School, where he competed for coaches Bill Cook, Chris Davis, Kevin Keuker, and Kyle Peters...four-year varsity letter winner for track and field... eight-time Iowa High School State Track and Field qualifier... four-time Northeast Iowa conference champion... four-time District champion... state champion in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay 2014... a part of the 2014 Go-Hawk team that won Conference and District championships... IATC All-State 2014...two-year varsity letter winner in football... helped the 2014 and 2015 teams advance to the second round of state playoffs...football position was at defensive back, slot receiver and kick returner... Academic All-State football player...two-year varsity letter winner in baseball... helped baseball team advance to the state semi-finals in the Iowa High School State Baseball Tournament... baseball position was at center field.
