At SCSU: Qualified for 2014 NCAA Division II indoor championships...set team weight throw record at Bemidji in 2014 with a throw of 64-00.50...second place at NSIC indoor championships in the weight throw and fourth in the shot put...at 2014 NSIC outdoor meet, Johnson placed third in the discus, third in the hammer and fifth in the shot put...on 2013, Johnson placed fifth in the weight throw at NSIC indoor meet and eighth in the shot put...at 2013 NSIC outdoor meet, Johnson placed sixth in the discus and eighth in the hammer throw.
Before SCSU: 2012 graduate of Amery High School...Track and field 2x regional champion...State champion...undefeated in disc senior year...lettered in football.
