Softball Travels To The Spring Games For 2016 Spring Break Trip

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – After playing the first 13 games of the season indoors at the Husky Dome, the St. Cloud State softball team (7-6) gets on the road, outdoors and out of state for the first time this week with a trip to the Spring Games at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla. from March 3-9.

The Huskies will play a total of 12 games over the course of the seven days in the Sunshine State. SCSU plays a pair of games per daily, with Sunday being an off day, starting with a 9 a.m. EST contest against Lake Erie College at Hancock Park 4 on March 3. St. Cloud State then plays against Saint Anselm College later that same morning at 11 a.m. EST also at Hancock Park 4 at the National Training Center.

- The event is held annually at the Legends Way fields at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.

- After returning from the Spring Games, SCSU will take nearly two weeks off before welcoming in Minnesota Duluth for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games on March 22 starting at 1 p.m. at the Husky Dome.
