Kinny and Munoz Perez win in singles competition
DULUTH, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Tennis (2-2, 2-2 NSIC) fell to Sioux Falls, 5-2, on Sunday morning in Duluth, Minn. The Huskies received singles wins from junior Shanna Kinny (Litchfield, Minn.) and freshman Claudia Munoz Perez (Tarragona, Spain).
DOUBLES
The Huskies dropped all three points of the doubles match, falling behind 1-0 in the match with the setbacks. At the No. 2 position, Munoz Perez and freshman Johana Brower (Sioux Falls, S.D.) lost in a tiebreaker.
SINGLES
In singles competition, Kinny and Munoz Perez won at the No. 4 and 5 positions, respectively. Kinny won in three sets, beating Joelle Thorfinnson (USF), 6-7 (4), 6-3, 1-0 (7) while Munoz Perez beat Emily Thinnsen in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0
