St. Cloud State Softball was well recognized in the end-of-season Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) awards, as the league announced its selections on April 29. Junior right handed pitcher Macey Clark (Winneconne, Wis.) became the first ever Husky to be named the NSIC Newcomer of the Year and five from SCSU were named to the All-NSIC teams, tying the school record for the most players selected to the all-conference teams in the program's NSIC ERA (since 2009).
Senior outfielder Reese Holzhueter (Shakopee, Minn.) was named to the All-NSIC First Team, while Clark, senior first baseman Maggie Fitzgerald (Oak Lawn, Ill.), sophomore second baseman Brooke Holmes (Savage, Minn.) and junior right handed pitcher Justyce Porter (Kent, Wash.) were all Second Team All-NSIC selections.
